Laser 2000 has introduced Moku:Lab, an all-in-one device that replaces multiple test and measurement instruments with a single device in laboratories
Analysis, test and measurement
Santa Barbara Infrared has partnered with Labsphere to provide a family of electro optical test systems under the name Colosus
Discovery Semiconductors introduced the 25G Clock and Data Recovery (CDR) Lab Buddy for test and measurement applications
RedLux, a developer of non-contact 3D metrology technology, has launched its latest OptiLux SD, a next generation system that can quickly and precisely evaluate and verify imperfections of optic components
Trioptics is changing the centring measurement of lens systems with the OptiCentric Linear PRO measurement system
Gossen Foto- und Lichtmesstechnik has further expanded its high quality range of light meters to include the Mavospoec Base, a miniaturised spectrometer for routine daily measurement of all conventional and modern light sources such as LEDs and OLEDs.
The new AQ6374 is the successor to the Yokogawa and Ando AQ6315A wideband optical spectrum analyser. Featuring diffraction grating based monochromator technology delivering high-precision measurement performance and accuracy, an enhanced user interface and an air purging feature, the new instrument offers engineers a powerful benchtop tool for general-purpose optical spectrum measurements over the wavelength range from 350 to 1,750nm.
McPherson has released a new vacuum ultraviolet spectral test system, VUV-STS. The system measures reflectance as a function of angle of incidence. It measures optical performance 'at wavelength' and can help determine optical constants. It uses special techniques for measuring non-polarised light and works in the 30 to 160nm wavelength region. Transmission can be measured too, although it is not appropriate for many materials at these wavelengths. Options exist to extend operation up to 300nm.
The Surface Isolation Source is an optional, external laser source for 4D Technology AccuFiz Fizeau interferometers
Leading to the Future of Optics
Optical systems have changed the world. And they will continue to do so. TRIOPTICS is significantly involved in this process.
