Introduction

Large Aperture Interferometers are being used for measurement and quality assurance applications in both governmental and private enterprises worldwide. They are essential for evaluating high power laser optics, large telescope mirrors, advanced semiconductor manufacturing, and much more. Choosing or designing an instrument for these applications engenders special concerns.
